Your data and privacy

What's yours#

Your brand and product lists, rivals, and alert rules are yours. We use them only to run Cannonball for you. We don't sell them, share them with retailers or other customers, or use them to train AI models. The Terms say so in full.

Who can see it#

Only the people on your team, and your agency's people if an agency runs your brand. Links to a page open only for people signed in to your brand. There are no public links.

Export it#

Every page exports to PDF, and on Brand and up, to CSV. See Export.

Have it deleted#

To close your account, or to have your personal information deleted sooner, contact us. When an account closes, its information is deleted within 90 days, apart from billing records, which Australian tax law requires us to keep for 7 years. Its owners (or admins) are emailed at least 7 days before, with the date. Signing in before then puts the deletion off for another 90 days; choosing a plan keeps it for good. A Paused trial isn't a closed account. The Privacy policy has every retention period.

Analytics in the app#

If you agree to cookies, the app records how it's used, such as which pages are opened, and screen recordings with your typing and your shelf data hidden, to make it better. If you say no, it still counts how it's used, but without cookies or screen recordings. Until you choose, it sends nothing. A few events, such as signing up or choosing a plan, are recorded on our side either way, as part of running the service. It never records what you type. The Privacy policy explains what's collected and your choices.
