This week's few findings worth your attention, ranked, then what changed on your shelf and your rivals' in the last week, newest day first and biggest change first within each day.
Availability Every plan

Home answers two questions: what needs you this week, and what moved since last week? It covers only the products you watch. If nothing moved, it says Nothing changed on your shelf, and that's good news. See Why Home is quiet.
This week#
Home opens with up to five findings, Ranked by stores × days at risk: how many stores each one touches, times how many days it has lasted. A product empty at 700 stores for 12 days comes before a rival's promo that started yesterday. Each finding is one sentence and a link to the stores, changes or product behind it.
What a finding can be:
| Finding | Example |
|---|---|
| Ranged but empty | "4 of your products are ranged but out of stock for 2 days or more at Coles: …". Only where the chain's stock is read store by store, and only when it's well above that chain's usual level (at least 10% of the stores). The count is the same as Stores' Out of stock 2+ days list. |
| Dropped from stores | "… was dropped from 431 Coles stores since Tue 6 Oct". Often the first days of a delisting. |
| A rival's promo | A rival brand's products that went on promo this week and still are, with a line on whether yours are on promo at that chain too. |
| A rival's price cut, your price rise | "… price came down at 1,108 Woolworths stores on Mon 28 Sep: $2.50 → $2.20 (−12%)". |
| Good news | Your promos and new stores. They come last, never ahead of a risk. |
At most two findings are of one kind, and each is about one chain, so prices are always in that chain's currency. When nothing stands out, Home says Nothing on your shelf needs you this week. Every change is listed below.
Our code finds, counts and ranks the findings, and writes each sentence. An AI model may reword a sentence to read better, from the same facts only: if its sentence has any number that isn't in them, you see ours instead. A rival you've hidden from Home is left out of your findings.
The numbers at the top#
Three numbers for your own products, each against the same day a week earlier. There's no average price here: across products of different sizes it says nothing you can act on. Each product's price is on its page.
| Number | What it is |
|---|---|
| Stores ranged | Stores that range at least one of your products, out of the stores whose ranging we read. See Stores ranged. |
| In stock | Across your products at every store whose stock we read, the share on the shelf. See In stock. |
| Stores on promo | Stores where at least one of your products is on promotion. See Stores on promo. |
Where a chain doesn't read a number, Home leaves its stores out of that number. One line under the numbers says what each of your chains reads, such as "IGA: price, promo and ranging.", then "Each number counts only the stores where it's read." If none of your chains reads a number, it shows "—". If some of your products have no reading in the last two weeks, the same line says how many the numbers are based on.
Under Stores ranged and In stock, the change since last week is green when it's good for you and red when it isn't. The change in Stores on promo has no colour. A product new this week isn't counted as a change. Until a week of history exists, the line reads Not enough history yet.
What changed#

Each change is one sentence, such as "Sunday Pantry Pearl Couscous is out of stock at 37 stores at Coles". One move is one change, however many price zones or stores it ran in: "Fantastic BBQ went on promo at 454 of 532 IGA stores: $2.50–$2.90 → $2.00–$2.20 (−20% to −27%)". Under such a change, "See 3 zones" (or "See 3 stores") lists each part of it. Click the sentence to see the stores, or the product for a price or promo change. Under the sentence:
- The role: Yours, Rival or Store brand.
- Where it happened: National, a state or region ("WA only", "NSW, ACT"), or one store's name. See Scope.
- The chain and the day it was seen.
- A marker, only if the change is inferred or unknown. Changes at Coles, Woolworths and ALDI aren't marked inferred: those chains price by zone. See Labels and markers.
The kinds of change:
| Change | Example |
|---|---|
| Out of stock | "… is out of stock at 37 stores at Coles" |
| Back in stock | "… is back in stock at 97 of the 130 stores at Coles" |
| Promo started, ended or changed | "… went on promo at Woolworths: $4.50 → $3.00 (−33%)" |
| Price up or down | "… price up at Coles: $4.20 → $4.60 (+10%)" |
| Added to stores | "… added to 598 stores at ALDI" |
| Dropped from stores | "… dropped from 1 store at IGA" |
High priority: a possible delisting#
Act on a change#

Open the menu (⋮) at the end of a change, or click the sentence itself. A change that counts stores ("out of stock at 37 stores") opens those stores; a price or promo change opens the product's chart. The menu offers, where they fit:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| See the stores | The stores where this change happened that day, on Stores. |
| Export the stores (CSV) | The same stores as a CSV file, on Brand and up. On other plans the item names the plan that has it. |
| Set an alert for this | Opens the product with the closest alert ready: out of stock, dropped from stores, a promo starting, or a price below a level. See Alerts. |
| Open the product | The product's page. |
Hide what you don't need#
The same menu hides changes:
- Dismiss hides that one change, with every zone or store it covers.
- Hide this rival hides every change for that rival product.
- Hide single-store moves hides every change that happened at one store only.
Each hide shows Undo for a few seconds. What you hide is hidden for you only; your colleagues still see it. If you hide everything that changed, Home says so instead of "Nothing changed".
Compare dates and export#
- Compare dates opens What changed: every change between any two days, beyond Home's week.
- Export gives a PDF of the page. A CSV of the week's changes, a row per change with plain-number prices, is on Brand and up. See Export.
New in your categories#
On Growth and Enterprise, Home ends with what arrived in your categories at Coles in the last 30 days. Other plans see how many arrived, and which plan shows them. Nothing shows when nothing arrived. See New in your categories.
What Home can't tell you#
- It covers the last week and shows up to 20 changes, newest and biggest first. When the week has more, "See all N changes" under the list opens What changed for the same week, with the same count. For a longer window, use What changed.
- Its list of changes shows changes, not levels. A product that's been out of stock at many stores for weeks is in This week when it's well above the chain's usual level; for any product, find its stores in Stores under Out of stock 2+ days.
- It shows the products you watch only. To see more, add products or rivals.
