    Prepare for a range review

Bring the evidence to a Coles range review: where you're ranged, which stores dropped you, where rivals beat you, and your price and promo history.

Availability Every plan. CSV export on Brand and up.

You'll end up with four things for each product: its ranging over time, the stores that dropped it, the stores where a rival is ranged and you aren't, and its price and promo history. Do it product by product, starting with the one under review.

    1. See its ranging over time#

    1. Open the product in Products.
    2. On the Stores carrying it chart, choose 90 days or 1 year.

The Coles line shows how many Coles stores ranged it each day. A step down usually means stores stopped ranging it. Note the date. On Solo, history goes back 90 days.

    2. Find the stores that dropped it#

    1. On the product page, click What changed.
    2. Set From to the start of the period under review and To to today, then click Compare.

The list names each drop: "dropped from 12 stores at Coles", with its scope (National, a state, or a store). Open Every product on … and … below it to see Stores ranged on both days.

    To name the stores:

    1. On the product page, click Stores, and set the chain to Coles.
    2. Under Change, choose Dropped.
    3. Under Since the end of, pick the start of the period under review, and click Show.
    4. Click Export, then CSV: stores.

The list is every store that dropped it since that day. A day before your plan's history, or before we have the chain, counts from that first day. See Stores that changed.

    3. Show where rivals are ranged and you aren't#

    1. In Stores, set the chain to Coles.
    2. Choose Rival carried, you're not.
    3. Export the CSV.

These are stores that range a rival you watch and none of your products: the range gap you're asking the buyer to close.

    4. Bring the price and promo history#

On the product page, the Shelf price chart shows the median price at each chain, with promo periods shaded. Choose 1 year and export a PDF: it's your promo calendar and price track record on one page.

    5. Put it in the pack#

Export the product page as a PDF (see Export for a meeting), and attach the CSVs.
