How do I see which stores are out of stock of my product?

Open Stores and choose Out of stock 2+ days. It lists every store where one of your products has had none on the shelf for two days or more, longest out first, with the chain and state. Narrow it by chain or state and, on Brand and up, export it as a CSV for your reps.

Why does Cannonball count out of stock from two days?

Accepted Answer

A store at zero for one day is often a normal day's sell-through before a delivery arrives. Two days or more in a row is a gap on the shelf worth acting on, so that is what the lists and alerts count.

How do I find which stores range my product?

Accepted Answer

Open the product's page and click Stores. You see each store of its chain, whether it's ranged there, and its shelf price at that store. Where we haven't read a store's ranging, it says so. Not ranged on the Stores page lists the stores that don't carry it.

Where is my rival ranged and I'm not?

Accepted Answer

Open Stores and choose Rival carried, you're not. It lists the stores that range a rival you watch and none of your products: your range gaps, store by store.

How do I compare my shelf price by state?

Accepted Answer

Open the product's page and click Stores: the Price column shows its shelf price at each store, and you can narrow the list to one state at a time. On Brand and up, export the list as a CSV to compare every state at once.

How do I check my promotion actually ran in store?

Accepted Answer

Open the product's page and click Stores. Pick a day in the promo week under Stores as they stood on: the On promo column shows which stores had it. Open a store to see its promo price and how deep it was.

What should I bring to a Coles range review?

Accepted Answer

Bring where you're ranged and where you're not, your out-of-stock record, where rivals are carried and you aren't, and your price and promotions against them. Cannonball gives you each one by store, and exports them for the meeting.

How do I build a store visit list for my reps?

Accepted Answer

Filter Stores to the stores that need a visit (out of stock 2+ days, or not ranged), narrow it to the rep's state or chain and, on Brand and up, export it as a CSV. Each row has the store, its chain and state, and what's wrong there.

How do I get alerts without being spammed?

Accepted Answer

Set a few rules on what you'd act on, such as any of your products out of stock for 2+ days at 20+ stores, or any rival cutting its price by 10% or more, rather than every change. A rule emails you only when it fires: once, then it stays quiet until the problem clears and comes back. Everything that fired overnight comes in one email at 7:00, and nothing is sent between 9 pm and 7 am.

Why does Cannonball's Home page show nothing new?

Home only lists real changes on your shelf and your rivals' in the last week. Usually nothing moved, and your products are where they were a week ago. Home also says so if you've hidden every change, or if the latest check hasn't arrived yet.

What does "inferred" mean on a number?

Accepted Answer

An inferred number wasn't read directly. On a total, more than half of the stores behind it weren't read directly; on one store's value, that store's wasn't. It's marked so you can weigh it. A number with no marker was read at all or most of its stores. Coles, Woolworths and ALDI prices come from each chain's price zones and aren't marked; the page says so once.

Which supermarkets does Cannonball cover?

Coles, Woolworths, IGA and ALDI in Australia. From 10 October 2026, also Woolworths NZ, New World and PAK'nSAVE, Chemist Warehouse, Dan Murphy's, BWS and Liquorland, and Bunnings and Mitre 10 in Australia and New Zealand, each by retailer group. What each chain shows store by store differs, and some figures are Coles only.

How much does Cannonball cost?

Nothing while the closed beta runs: brands in it use Cannonball free. After the beta, plans start at $149 a month. Each plan sets how many products, rivals, alerts and seats you get, and how much history.

How do I invite a colleague to Cannonball?

Accepted Answer

Anyone on your team can invite from Settings, under Team: enter their work email. They join as a member, and an owner or admin can make them an admin. Each person uses a seat on your plan, so Solo, with 1 seat, can't invite anyone.

Can I export Cannonball data to Excel?

Yes. Lists such as Stores export as a CSV file, which opens in Excel, on Brand and up. Every plan can export a PDF for a meeting.

Can an agency run several brands in Cannonball?

Yes. An agency workspace holds each client brand separately, with one sign-in, a view across all clients, and your name and logo on client PDFs.
